Behind the LENS
MY STORY
I’ve always loved photographs, I travelled a lot as a child - being born in the Andean Mountains of Ecuador and being raised in the UK came with a lot of adventures in between, I’m not sure I would truly believe they had happened if it wasn’t for the treasured collection of dogeared photos in my family to show for them.
I spent eight years working as a graphic designer for in film and video games in London and it was working in the city that made me want to slow down and so I picked up a camera for myself and this became my way to stop time.
Theres a way photos speak without words that I think is magical. Moments, places and people we love, perfectly frozen in time, reminders of how precious and fleeting life is. What a privallege it is to be able to savour that and share it with those we love.
Much of my inspiration comes from my love for travel and I’ve been fortunate to shoot my couples’ stories worldwide. When I’m not capturing love, I can usually be found at home in Bristol with my partner, Lun, and our sweet little cat, Bear — planning for our next adventure.

MY STYLE + APPRAOCH
My work reflects the way I move through the world; quietly observant, always chasing feeling. I’m naturally drawn to people, connection, and the little details that speak without shouting. When I have a camera in my hand, my goal is to capture the feeling in the room and do justice to the story unfolding so you have deeply personal memories to cherish. That’s the work I care about.
My style? A delicate balance of documentary and editorial. I believe your memories should capture who you are and beautifully blend raw emotions with style.
On the day, that looks like a calm, relaxed, and intuitive approach. For me, the most important thing is for you to enjoy every moment of your wedding day without feeling like you need to perform in any way. I work quietly in the background when it matters, capturing things as they naturally unfold. Of course, when you do need a bit of direction, I’m there, gently guiding you into the best light or helping you feel at ease in front of the lens. It’s never stiff or staged, just a little support to help you feel like yourselves.
The result? A mix of thoughtful, documentary-style images and editorial portraits that still feel like you. Stylish, personal, and timeless in all the right ways.

WE WANTED EDITORIAL LOOKING PHOTOS BUT I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT BEING INFRONT OF THE CAMERA. CLAIRE MADE THE WHOLE THING RELAXED AND FUN… THIS ACTUALLY ENDED UP BEING ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE PARTS OF THE DAY.
Claire is an unbelievably talented photographer and an all round wonderful human. She captured every aspect of our wedding so beautifully, we’re absolutely obsessed with the photos. We wanted editorial looking photos but I was a little nervous about being infront of the camera. Claire made the whole thing so relaxed and fun. She took the time to plan the route for our ‘couples shoot’ head of time (so we wouldn’t have to be away from the party too long) and knew exactly where to get the perfect shots. She made us feel amazing and this actually ended up being one of our favourite parts of the day.
